1. It depends on the type of water purifier


At present, domestic water purifiers can be divided into many types in terms of water supply, including general water purifiers, household central water purifiers, hot and cold water drinking machines, automatic water vending machines, etc. In addition, from the appearance, it can also be divided into many types, such as faucet type water purifier, bench type water purifier, floor type water purifier, wall mounted water purifier, and pipe type water purifier. The specific type of water purifier should be selected according to your own preferences.


2. It depends on the quality of the water purifier


The household water purifier is mainly composed of filter materials, adsorption materials, sterilization materials, etc. Early water purifiers were only composed of activated carbon and ordinary non-woven filter materials; Modern water purifiers are often composed of a variety of materials, and their water purification functions and effects are also good. Activated carbon can adsorb and remove organic matter, colloid, chroma, odor, residual chlorine, etc. in water, so it is the most widely used material in water purifiers.


3. It depends on the production process and functions


Simple water purifiers are often PPcotton+activated carbon, and some also add some cheap mineralized balls to fool users. The water purifier with reverse osmosis membrane has the highest effluent quality, which can meet the highest standard of water purifier specified by the Ministry of Health.


What is the difference between water purifier and water purifier?


1. Domestic water purifiers generally have no motor, do not need power, rely on water pressure to drive filtration, do not have a water storage tank, and the outlet water is generally normal temperature water. If hot water or ice water is required, it needs to be connected to a pipeline machine/water dispenser separately. Its main function is to remove residual chlorine, impurities, odor, bacteria and other harmful substances in water, filter impurities, rust, some bacteria, viruses, colloids, etc. in tap water, and some models have the function of scale inhibition.


2. Most of the products of the water purifier have motor power supply, water storage tank and five stages of filtration. The first stage is PP fiber filter element, the second stage is active carbon, the third stage is cast active carbon, the fourth stage is reverse osmosis membrane (RO membrane), and the fifth stage is post activated carbon. Its main function is to filter out all harmful substances in the incoming water. The water coming out is pure water, which is equivalent to the purified water sold on the market.


3. Another big difference between household water purifier and water purifier is that the water purifier is generally a sedimentation type filter, which has no sewage discharge function. When the service life of the filter element expires, it will be discarded and replaced with a new filter element. The water purifier can continuously flush the RO membrane and discharge pollutants to prolong the service life of the membrane. When the service life of the filter element expires, discard it and replace it with a new one.


Therefore, when we choose to use a water purifier or a pure water machine, we need to consider that if the quality and taste of drinking water are required to be high, (such as making tea and filling coffee) we can consider using a pure water machine.
